Jharkhand B.Tech Admission 2026
The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has invited online applications for the preparation of the State Merit List based on JEE (Main) 2026 scores for admission to B.E./B.Tech programmes in Government and Private Engineering Colleges of Jharkhand. Candidates who have secured a valid rank in JEE (Main) 2026 Paper-I (B.E./B.Tech.) can apply online to participate in the state counselling process.
The JEE Main-based State Merit List prepared by JCECEB will be used for counselling, seat allotment, and admission to participating engineering colleges in Jharkhand. Candidates are advised to complete the online registration within the prescribed schedule to be considered for the admission process.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy both the educational and residential eligibility requirements prescribed by JCECEB.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following:
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Electronics
- Information Technology
- Biology
- Informatics Practices
- Biotechnology
- Technical Vocational Subject
- Agriculture
- Engineering Graphics
- Business Studies
- Entrepreneurship
- Obtained at least:
- 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying subjects for General category candidates.
- 40% aggregate marks for Reserved Category candidates.
OR
- Passed D.Voc. in the same or allied sector as per the AICTE Approval Process Handbook.
Residential Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Be an Indian citizen.
- Be a Local/Permanent Resident of Jharkhand.
- Possess a valid Local Resident Certificate issued by the competent authority if claiming domicile benefits.
Reservation Policy
Reservation benefits will be provided according to the Government of Jharkhand rules.

- Backward Class-I (BC-I)

The registration fee varies according to the candidate’s category.
